Does a family member or someone you know suffer
from Alzheimer’s disease?
Ever have them wander away and become lost?
The Alzheimer’s Association has a Safe Return Program for
nationwide identification. The program includes a nationwide
participant registry that contains the full name of the registrant,
a photograph, identifying characteristics, medical information,
and emergency contact information which enables a police officer
to easily identify a person with Alzheimer’s. They have
bracelets, necklaces, lapel pins, key chains, and more for easy
identification. The Safe Return Program can also be used by police
to send an alert to area agencies that a person with Alzheimer’s
disease is missing. This may help recover a person faster.

BEWARE
There is a new phone scam spreading quickly by perpetrator(s)
attempting to steal your personal information to commit fraud.
Fall for it and your identity could be stolen!
HERE”S HOW IT WORKS
Someone calls pretending to be a court official
who threateningly says a warrant has been issued for your arrest
because you didn’t show up for Jury Duty. The caller claims
to be a Jury Coordinator. If you protest that you never received
a summons for jury duty, the scammer asks for your Social Security
Number and Date of Birth so he/she can verify the information
and cancel the arrest warrant. Sometimes they even ask for credit
card numbers. Give any of this information and BINGO!!
Your Identity just got Stolen
The FBI and the Federal Court System have issued
nationwide alerts on this matter, warning consumers about this
fraud.
Remember
Never give out your personal information to anyone over the phone.
If you have doubts, hang up on them and call the Jury Management
office of the Camden County Courthouse
