Everyone is invited to join us for the 33rd Annual National Night Out being held at Overbrook High School on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 The event is sponsored by organizations within the Borough of Pine Hill, including the Pine Hill Police Department, Municipal Alliance, Fire Department, Hope Chapel and many others.
National Night Out is an annual event designed to strengthen our communities by encouraging neighborhoods to engage in stronger relationships with each other and with their local law enforcement partners. The goal is to heighten crime-prevention awareness, build support and participation in local anti-crime programs, and most importantly, send a message that our neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. On June 13th, 2016 Paul Gehin was arrested at his residence in the unit block of East 8th Avenue on active warrants, issued as the result of a narcotics investigation at his residence. On May 28th 2016 Officers were called to the residence located in the Borough of Pine Hill for an investigation into a homemade greenhouse, located within the basement, where Marijuana plans were being grown. As a result of the investigation (13) thirteen Marijuana plants were seized, along with hydroponic and lighting equipment, an air filtration system, electronic temperature gauges and timer system.
On June 17, 2016 The Pine Hill Police Department and Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Suburban Narcotics Task Force, with assistance from the Lower Camden County Regional Special Response Team executed a search warrant in the 100 building of the Mansions Apartments. The search warrant was the result of a month long joint investigation conducted by the Pine Hill Detective Bureau and the Task Force into the distribution of crack cocaine in the Mansions Apartment Complex and surrounding area.
The Pine Hill Police Department solemnly remembers the courage, sacrifice and leadership of the 73,000 American Troops who landed on Utah Beach, Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach and with the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions on D-Day, 6 June 1944 as part of the 156,000 Allied troop invasion.

In 2014, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) launched the “Take 25” campaign which encouraged parents, grandparents, teachers and other concerned adults to take 25 minutes to talk to children about safety and abduction prevention. Last May, NCMEC transitioned Take 25 into a broader-based approach to include areas such as child sex trafficking and children with autism who wander. As motorists take to the roads this Memorial Day holiday, the Pine Hill Police Department is urging everyone to buckle up. Beginning May 23, 2016, Pine Hill Officers will taking part in the 2016 national Click It or Ticket seat belt enforcement mobilization and cracking down on motorists who are not belted.
As we kick-off the busy summer driving season, it is critical that everyone buckles up every time they go out, day and night – no excuses. – Click It or Ticket.
